As the phenomena begins to spread and talk of terrorism fills the airwaves, Elliot, his wife, Alma (Zooey Deschanel), their friend Julian (John Leguizamo), and his daughter, Jess (Ashlyn Sanchez), board a train bound for the presumed safety of the country. Tobey McGuire gets 50 million for next two Spiderman films

According to Times Online Tobey Maguire will receive approximately 5,000,000,000 pennies to reprise his role as Spider-Man/Peter Parker in Spider-Man 4 and 5, which the Times says will be shot “back-to-back over six months next year.” On top of the $50 million the site reports Maguire will also receive profit shares from the two films.

This is the second time recently we have heard word on the two Spider-Man sequels being shot back-to-back and furthers the confirmation that Maguire is signed.

As of now it is only reported screenwriter James Vanderbilt has penned Spider-Man 4 and there is no word on plot even though online speculation leads many to believe Dylan Baker, who played Dr. Curt Connors in Spider-Man 2 and 3, will play The Lizard.

Spiderman 4 is currently slated for a 2011 release.

Movie Review: Baby Blues

Have you ever heard about postpartum depression?

If your answer was yes, and if you had ever listened your wife crying after the baby's birth, you may want to try to fix it before it turn into a terrible nightmare.

Baby Blues, tells the horrible story (based on true events) of a woman on a secluded family farm, who suffers a psychotic break due to postpartum depression, and begins to slaughter her four children, one by one.

In this situation, the eldest son is forced to protect his siblings from the mother they have always loved.

If you wanna have a time fearing for the children in the movie, this is a good thriller option.

Directed by Lars E. Jacobson and Amardeep Kaleka, and starring by Collen Porch, Joel Bryant and Ridge Canipe, this film will make you stay on the chair till the very end.

Iron man 2... in IMAX 3D?

Recently in a press conference, both Stan Lee and Jon Favreau, talked about Iron man. Favreau spoke briefly on the progress of IRON MAN 2 and some things he would like to see happen for the highly anticipated sequel.

After seeing The Dark Knight and the look of that film, Favs would like to shoot IRON MAN 2 in part on IMAX and would also like to use 3D technology as well.
This is great news for all the fans (and not that fans) that enjoyed the first film.

"Dark Knight" to Re-Release for Oscar season

Warner Bros. is in talks with IMAX execs over the prospect of re-releasing the 'Dark Knight' to big-screen venues in January, just in time for Oscar-season.

It is hoped the push will give the film's Academy Award chances one final boost. The movie's success has led to speculation about possible Academy Award nods for director Christopher Nolan and, of course, Heath Ledger, who did a masterful job of portraying the Joker.

Many studios wait until the last week of December to release their movies to ensure they are fresh in the minds of Oscar voters when they fill out their ballots, and Warner Bros. has much of the same in mind with its plan to re-release the movie at the height of the Oscar voting season.
It's not clear if the film will be re-released only in IMAX or conventional venues as well, but with sales finally falling off in recent weeks, we would guess it would only be on IMAX and selected theatres.

It's earned around $950 million at the international box office.

Two new Spiderman movies confirmed!

Columia Pictures has officially given the go ahead for two more 'Spider-Man' films.

The studio has also announced that Tobey Maguire and director Sam Raimi will return for the fourth and five installments of the comic book franchise. And although the fate of Kirsten Dunst hasn't been confirmed at this point, she will likely return to reprise her role as Mary Jane Watson now that the key players are locked up.

Rumors had been floating around ever since the third installment that Tobey Maguire could be replaced for the fourth flick, but a studio spokesman has confirmed that was never the case and the studio "never considered any other actor."

We're also hearing that since the next two installments have been green-lighted, Columbia is considering shooting the films back-to-back to save production costs. Much in the way New Line did with the 'Lord of the Rings' trilogy.

Although some were less than pleased with 'Spider-Man 3', the spider is still Columbia's most successful franchise, so the move isn't too surprising.

The fourth movie is currently aiming for a May 2011 release.
